A headshot is not just a photo of you, it’s a portrayal of your persona. It’s your opportunity to display your best characteristics, including confidence, trustworthiness, professionalism, approachability.

The amount of effort you put into a headshot says a lot about how you would perform in the job you are seeking.

My job as a headshot photographer is to guide you through the process of conveying your persona and best characteristics.

Headshots can be traditional (solid background), modern (blurred background), lifestyle (environment setting) or something else altogether.

Before each shoot, I discuss the purpose of the headshots with the client to ensure the style of their headshots fits in with their profession.

I give direction the entire time we are shooting. Before the session starts, I always discuss how important body language is, and how it can communicate confidence in the headshot.
